Art and design is very important at Rotherfield because through art we can learn so much about the world around us as well as working together to liven and enrich our own learning environments. Children learn a progression of art skills through the different year groups, as well as making many links with their topic work by studying famous artists and creating wonderful artistic topic displays.
Look at some of our art displays around the school.
The displays show how much learning can be done through art, such as learning about shapes in maths, bringing a history topic such as 'The Titanic' alive and learning about world geography by studying artists from around the world.
